Sarah Herriot
Sarah Herriot is a London-based jewellery designer, working out of Clerkenwell, EC1. Her jewellery attracts praise for its simplicity of form and natural elegance. Her designs have resulted in an impressive client base, and are stocked by major London jewellery galleries and stores, as well as international galleries from Shanghai to Florida, Italy and Copenhagen.
Self-taught over the last 10 years she produces work that has enduring qualities of form and design. She has been working full-time as a designer maker for four years with great success.
Sarah is inspired by the inherent qualities of precious metals combined with natural ergonomic forms. Engineering and problem-solving play their part in her designs and her solutions are as much of each piece as the design itself.
Sarah’s current work has taken the simple egg shape as her template, and her work is a continuing dialogue with this form. Her skill in cutting edge 3D design technology is unique, attracting high praise for the forms and architectural quality of the designs.
